External Current Density in MF module and MEF module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello!

Different magnetic fields are obtained using External Current Density in MF module and MEF module.

I tried to add some currents (which come from MATLAB codes ) in a conductor sphere to obtain the induced magnetic field in space. I used MF module and MEF module ,respectively. But the magnitudes of the two magnetic fields are quite different.

So does anybody know why ?

How does COMSOL process external current density?

Thanks for reading.
