deformed porous media

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

A porous media consists of solid matrix and liquid water. There is no mass transfer, however, the average concentration of liquid water keep a constant when the porous media expand under heat, which indicates the total water quality increase. Does anybody know how to keep mass conservation when calculating the deformation
