"The solution number is out of range"

I've been using an Application built in COMSOL to generate results, which I then export from the application builder with no issues (the data is exported perfectly). However, later, when I later open up the .mph file I saved from application builder in the standard COMSOL editor, (right click > edit), I'm not able to view any results -- I'm just given an error message that says "the soltuion number is out of range". Any thoiughts on what's happening here?
