Moving Mesh (ALE) bug?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

This has happened to me several times recently using COMSOL 5.5. Whenever I add a Moving Mesh (ALE) physics to a model with an MFH physics, for example, the mesh doesn't move at all. I can see the geometry edges move in the post-processing, but they move independent of the mesh. I believe that my Moving Mesh is setup properly, because if I make a new model with only a Moving Mesh physics with the same settings, then the mesh moves properly.

I am able to fix this issue by creating a new model and adding the Moving Mesh physics at the same time as the MFH physics, but this gets very cumbersome. Is this a bug with the Moving Mesh physics or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you,

Alex
