Dirichlet and Neumann Boundary Condition on a boundary

I have to solve laplace equation in 2D domain (rectangle 0< x < a , 0 <y <b)

I need to enter the boundary condition on one side of rectangle i.e. going from (0,0) to (a,0)

On this line I want to enter mix boundary condition i.e. if (x<d1) V = V_o

else if (d1< x <d2) n.(del V) = 0

else V = V_o

Can someone help how I can enter this mixed boundary condition on one boundary?

Hello Umesh,

Assuming that d1 and d2 are known quantities, I would split that bottom boundary into three by adding points at d1 and d2. See attached file.

Best,

Jeff
