RF Signal Input/Transmission Problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am working on a 2D model to establish a connection between an input and a receiver antenna, but my S-parameters are positive. Shouldn't they be negative? Is there an error with my lumped port setup or choice of boundary? The transmitted field appears to be radiating behind the input antenna, which is no good (even with PML surroundings).

Would appreciate any feedback and/or suggestions.

Well, I agree that graph doesn't look encouraging. I suggest you post your model (the .mph file) to the forum, so that we can all take a look at it and see what is really going on.
