Defining domains for fluid flow and surface shemistry

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi All,

I'm trying to simulate laminar fluid flow and surface reaction inside a microreactor. The microreactor has been drawn in Solidworks 2019 and imported in Comsol.

The problem I have is that I don't know how to define domain and calulate these processes inside the reactor. Let's take an example by looking the attached picture. I'd like to know how to calculate this inside the cavity. When I use domains defined by default, Comsol is meshin and calculates accross the solid part of this body, not in the cavity.

I'd much appreciate it if someone know how to define this domain in the right way. Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind regards,

Marijan
