Different Initial Conditions

Hi,

I have a very general question about how to apply differen initial conditions to different domain. For example, in study-1, I calculated the temperature distribution of solids, and would like to use the results of last computed step as the initial condition of the solid domains in study-2. However, I also added a gas domain in study-2 (not presented in study-1). The question is when I define initial conditions by solution of previous study, how COMSOL gonna treat the initial condition to the domain which not presented in the previous study results?
