hello this is urgent question, i m having trouble defining heat flux in terms of an equation here the eqation is as follows here the l2 i have alredy defined. z is just the z axis changing and q_0 would also be constant. this is for heat tranfers in fluids. for a stionary study

Hi Divya,

This is straightforward in COMSOL Multiphysics. Just type it in as

q_0*(1+2*z/I2)*(1-2*z/I2)

For the expression's unit to be compatible with a heat flux, q_0 should have the SI unit W/m^2 or similar, and I2 should have the SI unit meter or similar.

Best regards,

Magnus
