ALE moving mesh in 2-physics coupled problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

There's a 2-physics or called 2-field problem, one is structural mechanics (whose shape frame is material/Lagrangian) and the other non-structural field is one working under a spatial/Eulerian shape frame by default. The 2 fields are coupled in that the structural field depends on the variable from the non-structural field and the non-structural field depends on the displacement from the structural field. In this case, is adding an ALE moving mesh necessary?
