For the derivation on pp. 203-204 of the User’s Guide at https://doc.comsol.com/5.4/doc/com.comsol.help.sme/StructuralMechanicsModuleUsersGuide.pdf, substituting L(Tref)/L(Tm) from equation (2-27) into (2-29) doesn’t seem to give (2-30). Can anyone show the missing algebra?

Attached is an extended version of the documentation you are referring to. Since the last step of the derivation was nontrivial, it has been added for future releases.
