Inkjet nozzle - Level set method simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of simulating an inkjet nozzle - Level set method simulation of an experimental 3D Printing nozzle. The input of the printer is given as triple pulse waveform. I have finalised the boundary conditions and input pulse as Pulse Voltage - (150, 120, 90) V , Pulse Length - (20,20,20)μs Pulse delay - (9,9,9)μs . Input velocity - 0.56[m/s] * rect1 t[1/s]. Time step (0,1e-8,1e-6) s. I have attached the results for your kind reference.

There is no error or warning. But I am getting air inside the inlet nozzle in the volume fraction plot. In actual case the fluid (water) should get ejected from the throat but in my case it is ejecting from the throat but inside the nozzle there is an air gap. Could anyone help me in this regard ?
