I'm simulating a flow in a 2D domain (a square wich contains a small hole).
The governing equations are (N-S and mass conservation) and the boundary conditions are :
- non slip BC (Dirichlet) around the hole
- neumann BC on the outer edges
- periodicity (vertical and horizontal) of the 2 components of the velocity and the pressure
- the pressure = 0 in the point (0,0)
- I have also a pressure gradient (a unit vector : teta=22.5 degree)
To resolve my problem, I use a general PDE.
I'm doing the simulations with Comsol 3.5 and Comsol 4.2a.
My problem is that the model constructed by Comsol 3.5 doesn't converge when I run it on 4.2a.
I have tried to change the properties of my solver on Comsol 4.2a and I got a result but it is not the same with that obtained by 3.5.
please find here attached the 2 Comsol files.
