I am building a heat transfer model for an array of elements. When i create a new element in the array. I need to reassign the boundary and subdomain conditions for it. It is really time consuming. Can I copy an element with its physical settings unchanged?

Hi

There are some cut & paste functionalities, even advanced ones in COMSOL (select items in the model tree), but one thing that is not obvious, if you are changing your geometry, you might change the topology and the numbering/ordering of nodes, and boundaries, and then COMSOL cannot always manage to follow your whishes

Good luck
Ivar
