RF - harmonic propagation - electric polarization of subdomain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,
I am using Comsol 3.5a with the RF module to simulate the harmonic propagation of an EM wave and I would like be able to define the electric polarization of my subdomains. When using transient analysis I can go to subdomain settings, Electric parameters, Specify material properties in terms of eplison_r, mhu_r, and omega and then select the middle Constitutive relation to define the polarization. However, as far as I can see I can only use this under transient analysis, I can only define a lumped port but I would like to use an EM wave port such as with a microwave waveguide.

Is there another way?

Thank you,
Rob
