Modeling Piezoelectric Devices

You can use COMSOL Multiphysics® with the MEMS Module add-on product to model various piezoelectric devices. In this previously held webinar, you will get an overview of the capabilities for modeling MEMS devices and see examples of different applications of electromechanics simulations, with a focus on the features for modeling piezoelectric materials. This includes a look at the predefined physics interfaces, specialized study types for conducting various types of analyses, and predefined piezoelectric materials. We also discuss some important aspects of modeling piezoelectric materials and end with using the software to demonstrate the process of modeling a piezoelectric transducer. Some of the material presented is also applicable to the Structural Mechanics Module and Acoustics Module.
