Problem in optical waveguide simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I have been confront with a new problem when I am analyzing the mode of a optical waveguide in comsol mutiphysics. The waveguide is 3D. I want to consider the injection of light in one port of the waveguide and then examine which mode can be excited, but I don't know how to do it. The optical waveguide is a little different
from the step index fiber, but it's of no importance. My problem is the injection of light. If only someone can help me! Thanks a lot!
