Defining a surface variable on a domain?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I'm attempting to define the reaction rate of a bulk species involved in an adsorption reaction in Transport of Diluted Species. I am also using Chemistry and Surface Reactions. I would like to define this reaction rate as a function of the concentration of the adsorbed species. However, the variable for the concentration of the adsorbed species is defined only on a boundary, not the domain. Is it possible to define this variable across the whole domain?
