Quad Meshing

Hello everyone,

We've been trying to create a perfect quad mesh for this device we're planning, but the generated mesh never comes out the way we want. You can see it in the attached picture.
How can we make the mesh to be just squares?

Hi

the number representation of floating point numbers are plying you a game, and you have probably not restrained your quad mesh to a fixed size, but allowed it to expand.

If you want structured mesh, start by meshing a boundary (edge in your case) and "Sweep" the mesh, this would give you the desied shapes, but sart in one end and progress to the other, its difficult or impossible to sweep mesh a domain that has two opposed boundaries already meshed

Please try the mapped mesh option. This requires more input specification, but will produce a regular ´quad´ mesh in 2D.
