Why is there an err when the PML or scattering boundary conditon is used

Sir
I am using the the study type eigenfrequency in the RF module to calculate the eigenvalue of whispering gallery mode in a 2D disk. I draw a Si circle as the circular optical cavity first and a larger circle as the scattering boundary conditon. Why is there an err during the study step?
If I use the PEC instead of the PML or the scatttering boundary condion there is no err. The PEC will not give me the real part of the eigenvalue so that I can not get the radiation limited passive Q factor by omega/(delta*2).
Pls see the attached.
Thank you so much.
