Simulation of syntactic foams

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I have a general question about the strength simulation of syntactic foams. Syntactic foams are foams, where the porosity is generated by hollow particles (e.g. glass spheres). Therefore, such foams have different phases (matrix, hollow particles and wall material of the particles). Is it possible to simulate such a material?

Thanks a lot for answers!
