Electrochemical reduction of CO2

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm trying to simulate the electrochemical reduction of CO2 to H2 and CO following several COMSOL tutorials, but changing the reactions that take place. In my case, I have to specify the following reactions: - In the anode: 2 H2O --> O2 + 4H+ + 4e- - In the cathode: CO2 + 2H+ + 2e- --> CO + H2O 2H+ + 2e- --> H2

When I try to compute the model, it starts running but then it remains at 58% progress for more than 12 hours. Can anyone help me?
