How to model adsorption on a solid surface for a 1d stationary model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I created a 1D, stationary model using the Diluted Species Interface to model the diffusion and reactivity of several species within a diffuse layer adjacent to an electrode surface. Now I am trying to incorporate the Surface Reaction interface to account for competitive adsorption among species and the direct electron transfer of some species on the electrode surface. However I am running into problems when I try to run the model and am getting the warning "Can not evaluate expression'" for my first species in the Surface Reaction interface. Would anyone be able to provide some guidance as to what the issue may be?

Any recommendations or help is much appreciated!

Adrienne
