How is "point evaluation" and "data display" different?

Hi all:

I have two questions about post-processing:

1) How is point evaluation and data display different? I have tried to plot the stress at a vertex, by selecting it in point evaluation and by entering its coordinates in data display. The results turned out to be different.

2) If this vertex is moving, then in point evaluation, does the program track the movement of this point in time and plot its stress? i.e. It's always the stress at this point that is plotted, wherever it may be?
Also, in data display, is the stress at a stationary coordinate that is plotted?

Thank you,

Joe
