In this webinar, you will learn how to model wave and ray optics using the COMSOL Multiphysics® software. See the wide range of capabilities for modeling electromagnetic waves and rays as well as unique functionality for coupling to other physics phenomena such as heat transfer and structural mechanics.

The presentation gives an overview of the features and interfaces of the Ray Optics Module, an add-on product to COMSOL Multiphysics®, and provides a demonstration of how to set up a model of ray propagation in a large optical system. We then discuss the capabilities of the Wave Optics Module, which can be used to study and predict the behavior of:
