License Borrowing

Hi all,
I have had a long term problem borrowing a license on my macintosh laptop. Has anyone been able to do this with COMSOL 3.5a?

When I run ./lmborrow in the correct directory it reports no errors, but when I run ./lmborrow -status it does not show my license has been checked out. More importantly the software will not run. Any suggestions?
