Need support about magnetic field diffusion time in Comsol

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am working in electromagnetic transient analysis with Comsol program and need some support.

My simulation model includes one copper coil and one iron core, In there, I supplied a transient current (fault current with the duration of 10 ms) to copper coil.

In experiment, I measured magnetic field inside the core and I saw that there was a delay time (about 60 ms) of magnetic field comparing with the transient current. As I know, the delay time is called as magnetic field diffusion time.

Thus, I want to simulate this phenomenon in Comsol simulation. However, in simulation, the delay time is considered as zero. Could you give some comments or method to confirm this problem?

Many thanks for your contacts and supports.
