what do you exactly mean by optical and electrial. An "optical" wave is an electromagnetic wave, but defined over some limited and given frequency range. So the are identical by "design" or rather by physics.
As you seem to be interested in solar radiation, you need to consider not only wavelength but also random polarisation and the solar spectrum, to be able to convert illumination power to some electrical field power
