Multiphysics Coupling Issue

Hi,

I am trying to couple a Schrodinger solver with a Thermal-Structural solver from the MEMS module. Following is the sequence of the simulation

1) Run Thermal/Electrical module to compute stress/strain in structure.
2) Use stress/strain result from above to compute eigen modes using the Schrodinger solver.

Step 2 needs to be run in a parametric sweep mode. After the first iteration of the parametric solver, the simulation seems to overwrite the stress/strain calculated in step 1 messing up the later iterations.

Is there a way I could run the Schrodinger solver in parametric mode and keep it from changing the results of the Thermal/Electrical interaction module.

Thanks for your time
Neville

Hi

have you played with the solver manager seting, to save the first run and use it as a starting point for the nest simulation (initial value tab. I would also use the "sequence tab" to clearly define the setting.

Check the forum and the doc, there are some other discussion around this

Hope this helps on the way
