Multiphysics Simulation Showcase

Introducing a new way to present your work at the COMSOL Conference!
Two COMSOL Conference attendees discussing a poster in the poster hall.

For the COMSOL Conference 2026 Boston, you are invited to showcase your multiphysics modeling and simulation work in front of a live audience of engineers, scientists, and industry leaders. As in previous years, you will have the opportunity to share real-world innovations through a poster exhibition, where you can hold technical discussions, share insights, and exchange perspectives with other simulation experts across industry and academia.

Additionally, this year's conference introduces a new way to celebrate your work: the COMSOL Innovation Contest!

Present Your Work to Win $50,000!

The COMSOL Conference will now be home to the COMSOL Innovation Contest, for which contestants can submit an abstract and a short video to be placed in the running for cash prizes!

One individual or group from each of the following categories will be selected to present as a finalist:

  • Aerospace and Defense
  • Automotive, Transportation, and Mobility
  • Energy
  • Life Sciences and Medical Technologies
  • Manufacturing and Process Engineering
  • Semiconductors and Consumer Electronics

A more extensive list of topics within these categories can be found farther down on this page.

The six finalists will give a 10-minute slideshow presentation (with a 5-minute Q&A session) during the conference, and two of the presenters will win a cash prize:

1st Place
$50,000
2nd Place
$5,000

Our judging panel, comprised of a committee of experts from different industries and research organizations, will determine the winner of the 1st-place award. The 2nd-place winner will take home the Best Presentation by Popular Vote award, voted on by conference attendees. Both awards will be announced live at the conference.

The six finalists will also have their conference registration covered.

3 Showcase Opportunities & Additional Awards

The COMSOL Conference 2026 Boston aims to offer more avenues than ever to help you share your use of COMSOL Multiphysics®, providing three distinct showcase opportunities:
  1. Present a poster live
  2. Submit a paper to be published in the online conference proceedings
  3. Enter the contest for the opportunity to present a slideshow presentation live

Posters will be displayed in the large exhibition hall throughout the conference, and authors are invited to present their work during the poster session.

There will be one winner of the Best Poster by Popular Vote award, selected by conference attendees, and one winner of the Best Paper award, selected by our program committee.

After the conference, all approved posters, slideshows, and papers are published in the online proceedings, which have a global reach.
