Senior Developer (Multiple Openings)

Duties: Responsible for the development of the main numerical methods in COMSOL Multiphysics® software and its add-on products. Develop methods for solving partial and ordinary differential equations and methods for optimization. Work on analysis, specification, implementation in C++/Java, testing and documentation. Profile the performance of new and existing methods. Build tutorial models for new and existing functionality. Write different types of tests for new and existing methods. Write product documentation for new functionality and for tutorial models. Give technical presentations at webinars, workshops, customer meetings and conferences.

Requirements: Requires PhD in Numerical Analysis, Mechanical Engineering or related field of study, and 2 years of experience with overset grid methods. Experience specified must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: utilizing numerical linear algebra to solve partial differential equations; and programming language C++. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
