Marketing Specialist

COMSOL, Inc. is seeking a full-time marketing specialist to join our Marketing department onsite in Burlington, MA.

Job Description

As a marketing specialist, you will manage the U.S. tradeshow plan and ensure that each tradeshow event we attend runs smoothly and successfully. In this role, you will work alongside marketers focused on lead generation and collaborate with colleagues in other teams and departments. In addition to coordinating tradeshows, you will be tasked with assisting in day-to-day activities such as email marketing and maintaining our customer relationship management (CRM) database.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the U.S. tradeshow plan, including booking events and working with onsite vendors
  • Coordinate workshops and speaking opportunities
  • Prepare booth materials and coordinate with the Creative team to confirm up-to-date versions and custom pieces
  • Ensure successful shipment of booth material
  • Coordinate with the IT team to book needed equipment
  • Book travel for staff
  • Report on results and work with staff for feedback on future events
  • Work with the Sales department on lead follow-up plans
  • Opportunity for travel with certain events
• Contribute to email marketing campaigns and monitor results to improve efficiency
• Process customer information on a day-to-day basis and assist with CRM-related projects
• Assist in various Marketing department projects

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Current eligibility to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position

Helpful Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or related experience with 2+ years of B2B marketing experience
• Familiarity with a CRM-based as well as Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with GoToWebinar, GoToMeeting, and the RingCentral Meetings web-based meeting tools or equivalent is preferred
