RF microstrip band filter with non ideal conductor

Hi,
I am trying to model a spiral resonator microstrip for filtering certain frequencies. The design I am using is a pretty common and simple one; a microstrip with a single resonator on a dielectric substrate and a ground plate at the other side of the substrate.
Now, my problem is I cannot define the strip and the ground as Perfect Electrical Conductor (PEC) because I will actually fabricate this device and the material I will be using is far from an ideal conductor. It is a low conductivity material and I need to see how it will behave with different dimensions and designs.
I tried using impedance boundary condition for the strip by removing substrate from emw domain but it keeps giving error in uniform lumped port setup when I try to compute. My lumped port boundaries are defined. I don't know why it gives me this problem.
On the other hand, I don't even know if comsol allows non-ideal conductor for RF microstrip since there are absolutely no examples around.
Help is greatly appreciated!!
Thank you
