West Coast Simulation, Inc provides customer-driven solutions for complex problems that involve multiple physical phenomena interacting through nonstandard or nonlinear couplings. Each specific problem has unique requirements that demand flexible approaches to obtaining solutions. We pride ourselves on rapid response to our clients’ pressing problems, which allows engineers and technical leaders to develop products and validate decisions in a time-efficient manner. Our engineers work with technical professionals from a variety of industries such as automotive, aerospace, solar power, biomedical devices, immunoassay, analytical instruments, and microfluidics.
Meet Our President
Dr. Carl D. Meinhart leads the WCS technical team and has over a decade of experience using COMSOL Multiphysics, solving problems ranging from fundamental microfluidics research to the analysis and development of commercial products. Dr. Meinhart is a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds five patents, over fifty publications, and is a fellow of the American Physical Society.
