Temperature time dependent first then fixed after reaching a threshold

Hi All,

I'm using 5.2, I'm doing a transient simulation to model heat transfer in biological tissues. An electrode is injected into the tissue to supply current for heating. what I want to do is, let the temperature of the electrode increase with time until it reaches some threshold (say 90degC), and then fix the temperature of the electrode at that threshold for the rest of the time. Can this condition be achieved by comsol? Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

You should be able to implement this with the Events interface. See www.comsol.com/blogs/implementing-a-thermostat-with-the-events-interface/ for an example.
Best,
Jeff
