hi am new to comsol and i was trying to build a model more like a cylindrical solid and need to study its displacement ( thermal expansion) with change in temperature and plot it . Am able to make the geometry and apply the physics , heat transfer and structural mechanics . Can you tell me how to plot a displacement ( thermal expansion ) graph with respect to the temperature change .

The Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics manual (accessed through the File > Help > Documentation menu) includes a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up a thermal expansion model.
Note that you need either the Structural Mechanics Module or the MEMS Module.
Best regards,
Jeff
