Interaction of a droplet with a high energy surface (ALE method)

Hello,

I am interested in trying to model a liquid droplet on different surfaces while using the surface energies to define the contact angle. I know that phase field and level-set method work well for describing a liquid droplet, but I prefer ALE which has some physical relevance.

I was able to use the "Square Drop Oscillation Under Surface Tension" model from the library to describe a droplet shape. From there you can adjust the boundary conditions of the Navier Stokes to include "no-slip" and "slip" walls, but the contact angles are meaningless. Does anyone know of a way to model the actual energy contribution from a surface, say PTFE, on a liquid droplet? Is COMSOL capable of carrying out such calculations?

Thank you
