Moving Mesh

Hi,

I've been working with solid mechanics module for a CNT switch model, and I don't know what's the utility of the oving mesh, I mean, I've run the simulation with and w/out the moving mesh and It seems I'm getting the same results.
What are the advantages of using the Moving Mesh?

Thank you

I am not familiar with the solid mechanics module. But in general, if there are two regions separated by an interface and the equations describing the mechanics in one region is different from the other, employing a moving mesh at the interface will increase the domain size of the mechanics. In other words, the mechanics of one domain will expand into the mechanics of the second.
