Hello,

I have a file of multiple sphere coordinates (x y z radius) vectors and would like to input the geometry in comsol in order to recreate a packed sphere bed.

I cant find how to create those geometries, any help would be appreciated

Hello Dimitrios,

There are several options to do that. One would be to use MATLAB, if you have MATLAB and a license of COMSOL that includes LiveLink for MATLAB. Another approach would be to use a model method, see this blog post for inspiration.

Best,

Jeff

Thank you very much, I suspected I had to use a model method but I will see if I can do it both ways.

Thanks for the quick response
