HI, All,
I am using PML in acoustics for damped eigenfrequency modeling. An example geometry can be a string anchored at two large blocks on its two ends. The two blocks are set as PML. I hope I can get the non inf Quality factor with complex frequency considering the damping inside PML.
It can be seen that the field (log10(dispacement^2))) is gradually decreasing from the anchor facets. However, only real frequency can be obtained. The Q is always infinite. Is there is anything wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
J.Zheng
