earthing electrode modeling

Hallo,

I would like to ask if its possible and how can i apply ac current on an earthing electrode so that i can measure the voltage and by using them to calculate the earth resistance. ive got two big blocks.one filled with air an the other with soil. i have placed the earthing electrode between them. is there any idea how i could apply current and get voltage mesaurements?
