I am new at the comsol-matlab interface and I have some questions

What are GetU ans setU functions do? do they store a vector with the solution? what does this vectoe include? if I ran a transient study for heat transfer with electrical currents and I need the results of the heat at the end of the study as well as the conductivity and electric field do I need to define that erlier?
And what is getPvals? what does that vector contain?
