I am sorry for late reply. Actually, I was trying to calculate the cross-talk between two core in above example [https://www.comsol.com/model/directional-coupler-14593]. I can calcuate it by using couple mode theory by calucting E field for one (or another) core taking other core absent and calculating the overlapp integral. But I could not do it by using supermode thery as discussed in the following paper.

In above example, it was shown that how the electric field couples from one waveguide to other, but it was not ediscussed how can be extract the coupling coeffcient/cross -talk between the two core.
