Modal Lamb Wave Amplitude

Hey Guys, I would like to excite one single modal lamb wave mode (e.g. A3 mode) in a rectangular plate. Can you tell me how to do so? Freq. or time dependent, both is fine to me :)

A0 and S0 modes are easily excited using appropriately arranged pairs of point forces. However at frequencies where higher order modes exist it is likely that point forces would excite a mixture of modes.

One possibility is to obtain the mode displacements through the thickness of the plate from theory or eigenmode simulations, and then use imposed displacements on the boundary. I haven't done this so I don't know how well it would work.
