I want to calculate the electric energy between two parallel plates.
One plate is fixed and another plate is moving along the Z-direction(moving 'up and down').
Therefore, the electric energy between two parallel plates is function of displacement. Is it right?
The electric energy, E=0.5*C*V^2. And capacitance, C= epsilon*A/d.
'A' is area, 'd' is displacement between two parallel plates.
How can I calculate the electric energy by varying displacement in COMSOL program ?
Thank you.
