Laser Heat Flux?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I have (seemingly) very simple problem I am trying to model. I am trying to see how a 10 nW laser (not a point source) heats up a very thin membrane during a span of 5 seconds. I am not sure what to input for the inward heat flux value for the boundary where the laser would be incident on the surface. Inputting a number and solving does not seem to change the temperature of the object in any place.

Also, any help with meshing the object (0.85 mm by 1.5 microns) would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!
