how to include heat loss in insulated boundary

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I have set the boundary condition as insulated, however, in real case, the insulation material is not ideal, heat loss is expected.
Hence, may I know how to include heat loss in boundary condition?

Thanks.

Hi

in which module and how do you loose your heat ? by radiation, convection or conduction ? you have different variables depending on T^4, (T-Tref) or DT for the different cases. Check the doc, and try out a few examples in the HT module
