Connecting a 3D Electromagnetic Wave Model to an Electrical Circuit
Application ID: 10833
A model built with the RF Module can be connected to an electrical circuit equivalent, if there is some structure outside of the model space that you wish to approximate as a circuit equivalent. In this model, the 3D model of a coaxial cable is connected to a voltage source, in series with a matched impedance, and sees a load, also of matched impedance.
This application was built using the following:RF Module
The combination of COMSOL® products required to model your application depends on the physics interfaces that define it. Particular physics interfaces may be common to several products (see the Specification Chart for more details). To determine the right combination of products for your project, you should evaluate all of your needs in light of each product\'s capabilities, consultation with the COMSOL Sales and Support teams, and the use of an evaluation license.
