You will learn about modeling perfectly mixed systems and implementing chemical equations to study chemical kinetics. We discuss obtaining the composition in the reactor via a time-dependent study, adding thermodynamic and transport properties, obtaining the temperature profile in the reactor by solving the model equations under nonisothermal conditions, and using the perfectly mixed space-independent model to build a space-dependent model.
