The perfectly matched layer of the solid mechanics

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I saw the perfectly matched layer in the solid mechanics in comsol 4.0a , but i find that a interesting seting about the PML is the wavelength matched by the PML. I didn't find similar option in the acoustic or RF module.

I just want to know how to fill the blank. I try some numbers like 1e-3, 1 ,1e3, and the result is so different. also, I found the effect of the PML in solid machanics is not so good as the version 3.5a.

I donot know whether the problem about setting. if someone have some tricks about it. Please help me.

I'm really appeciate it.
